Programing Pads

Just wondering how a get the pads on a 500 acting more like cue points on a cdj. Im tryin to get it so that when i hit the pad numerous times the sample is restarted instead of overlapping and creating a clutter? as u can tell im just starting out so go easy. chur

Not sure about the 500, but can you adjust the samples polyphony down to 1 somehow?

That way only one instance of the sample can sound resulting in a re-trigger with no chance of an overlapping mess.

it's in the program mode. note repeat: mono or poly. you want mono. look it up in your manual to corroborate.
