I am trying to upload some samples. It isn't too many, compared to other projects I've done. It is 11 samples, and they are all mono and average 5 seconds. When I try to load them onto my MPC500 it says "insufficient memory". This is weird because I am not even trying to load anything big. When I hit "Status" to check my memory it says:
Wav: 0% Sq: 99%.
What does this mean?
And why won't it let me upload the samples??
Please respond if you know the answer, I'd like to get back to my project as soon as possible. I've been working on it all night.
Thanks.
one love

preloaded samples already in there maybe.

autoloaded stuff is taking up room maybe.

not enough ram maybe.

bad sample management maybe.

seq%, percentage of how many sequences the thing can hold.
wav% = percentage of how many wavs can be loaded.
