hey everyone, quick question. ive been going through MPC tutors tutorial on the 500 and ran across this...
"If we set this to MONO, the sample still plays all the way through, but this time, if we
hit the pad while the first hit is playing, this will abruptly stop the first hit and it will
be overridden by the new hit, so that the sound never overlaps itself. Try it – each
time you pres the pad, the sample just starts again with no overlap at all. If you
want to set the entire program into MONO, just change the POLY in the top right of
the screen to MONO."
My question is regarding the last line, how do I change the entire program into MONO, and where is the POLY in the top right of the screen? Am i missing something very obvious? Thanks for the help.
