Timestretch, stretches the sample without changing the pitch. It keeps the sample in the same pitch even if you change the tempo.

but yo striait up , timestrecth in the mpc isnt nearly as good as timestrech in a program like protools or soundforge, it would be better to stretch you samples in a daw instead of the mp if you have a daw.

They've got waayy to many algorithms as far as I can tell. Just makes it confusing.
Voc hi, voc low, femvoc, accapela, etc. Scrolling through them and trying to pick one is a irritating. They should reduce the number to a fewer more general settings.

I got recycle. it doesn't timestretch well @ all if you dont have the timing of the bars right. At least that i know of. You have to have the 2 or 4 bar loop exact in order for the timestretch to work

I have yet to figure out the time stretch on the 500... I tried it a few times & after applying the effect I can't notice a difference... & there's no preview...
I never really sweated it enuff tho to learn it I guess... I time stretch in Acid pro pretty ez if I need to.
