Is it possible to Stack Samples on one pad?

I know this might be a dumb question to some, but...

Is it possible to stack multiple (different) samples on one pad? i.e. so the samples have different volume levels but are triggered by one pad press.

If so how can I do this?

Any help would be appreciated even if it's to point me to the right page in the manual or the mpc500 beatmaking book that flogged on this site.

I'm at work right now so trawling through a pdf wasn't high on my plans for this afternoon but you've just made it that little bit easier.

Man, I can't believe I missed that! I've pretty much got my head round this box but never noticed that layer number.

This is going to make a huge difference to me!
