Saving a new sample

Hey I know this is lurking in the manual just wanted to keep working instead of diving in that thing. I have a stock Hi Hat drum sound layered and edited on pad A1. I would like to rename the sample and save it in a different folder so I can use it again. I assumed this was done on the trim menu so I went in there but I could only find the ORIGINAL Hi Hat not the one I played around with and put on Pad 1. Long story short If I have a tweaked sample assigned to a pad can I rename and hence resave the new Sound I created. I know how to save I just basically can't find my new sound. If yall could clue me in on how this is done I'd appreciate it!

Thx Green but there is no quicker way?? I knew about rerecording it and saving but thought there had to be a faster way... guess not.

Settings in ur program (layering, pitch) doesn't change the wav sample itself. If u want to save the sound with the tweaks u have to record the samples with the tweaks. So yes, resampling is ur only option unfortunately.

U can also add effects to it or use the sliders when u resample. That way u can create some really nice sounds

you mean when recording to the main outs?

Thats the beauty of resampling, you can flip and mutate a sample or sequence and create something totally new.
