The way I understand it is that you can use bigger cards but the bigger they get the slower they are to access. IE: saving, loading, previewing, etc.
I figure a 4 gig will be a good middle ground between losing a little speed, but doubling my capacity.
Also check the read speeds, some cards are quicker than others. For instance they have 15 kbs cards and 10 kbs cards that look almost exactly the same. I think sandisk is supposed to be the most reliably compatible and the card has to be CF II.

I reccomend a bunch of 2gigs.

yea that's what I did ... I got eight 2G cards now, makes for a nice werk flow by breaking down dif samples on dif cards, like drums on one, bass on one, instruments on one, etc etc.

the way IM currently goin about it is...make a new folder on the comp then load the newfolder on the mpc and clear the samps. i havnt found a better way yet.
