I got one : a usable Time Sync ! Impossible to record correctly in DAW with sync, The groove is always f***ed up when trying to record with sync, which is completely unbelievable ! (ok that's a bug... but I'm more specific !)

I'm just hoping there will ever be another update... Akai seems to be focused
on the new "Flagship Products" ... I seriously have to doubt the 500 will ever be any better than what it is now, not that its that bad, It's a incredible instrument when used correctly even with the bugs.

Co-sign. Failing that, at least fix the timing engine so 120 bpm IS 120 bpm!

1 - A high pass filter
2 - The ability to trigger sample recording using a midi note
3 - Better polyphony

Given Akai's notorious reputation for leaving buggy Os' "as is" I wouldn't bet on it...

where do you get this information from? JJ has stated specifically that there will not be a JJ OS for the MPC500.

A simple function that would spread the pads played on one track to separate tracks. That way, I could play something live, then immediately have it tracked. Maybe be able to choose the bank the tracks are output to.

I think it's about time they released and update for the MPC500. Been quite a while now and it's essentially still their newest currently available MPC, excluding the 5k which isn't out yet.
