Why is everybody is so happy about these new os.
They miss tu put the most important thing:

CHOPSHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another miss occasion!!!!

What do you need a filter for, for me the mpc 500 is good to work on the move to chop samples without have to use pc.If i want to put filter and other things i use pro tools.

Chopshop, polyphony are what they really had to fix

Imo Akai has done quite a good job on the new OS. Only one filter on a mpc was a joke, and now the mpc500 is more versatile.

there not done with the updates, there definitely will be more...
From what I been hearing there working on the Chop Shop, there just trying
to figure out how to display it on the small screen. Also the polyphony issues are being worked out as we speak...

But In my opinion they have honestly made the mpc 500 more of a better machine..
I think the mpc 1000 better watch out.

Just got my 500 back from being left in a hotel room. I guess all people arent thieves.
Anyway, it was always stable but I notice the sequencer is even tighter.

I like the filters too I can really play some noice basslines on it by playing with the filters.
