sh*t, this thread is makin me feel bad for thinking of selling my 500 to get a 1000.

i love the 500, i seriously do, and i can work extrememly quick on it, but i figure the workflow shouldn't get messed up to much if/when i move to a 1k. they seem to be the most similar MPC's

maybe ill keeep the 500 and 1000, might not have enough money though

sell it. get a roland.

i dont have the money, space, or time to learn a brand new machine. the mpc is great, i dont see any point in getting a roland MV

Stick to your guns and keep the 500. We're not here to tell what to do but can only share our experiences so you can listen and adapt it to your own interpetation. By the way don't you have your own thread for this discussion?

yeah i just wanted you guys to know that this thread is holdin me back from gettin a 1000, i don't mean to double post or anything.

My 500 wasn't posted by Akai on Monday like they said, so I was a disappointed bunny today. Hopefully it'll be at the store tomorrow so I can pick it up after work!

Want it. NOW! Ahaha. I've got three samples that I'm saving until I get it. Don't want to make any kind of 'mark' on them until I've got that machine schooled.
