editing samples via numbers not graphical, yay or nae?

Yah I was about to say, if you like graphical, who said you still can't use the MPC 500? Chopping on the PC is easy, and free with MPC Maid. That can suit the graphical portion, but for me, I take samples off of my turntables so editing with the MPC is just faster than saving the sample onto the CF card, copying to PC, chopping, bringing back to the MPC and whatnot. This little thing is a beast, I just want more effects.

True, if you're sampling off vinyl as your working on the track it's probably quicker to edit on the MPC500 itself.
