Okay, this isn't a noob question, I just don't know what the hell is going on?

I recording a sample into my 500 last night from my turntable, and trimmed it up, then assigned it to a pad. I recorded it and saved it just in case my 500 crashed. Well, I tried to proceed playing my snares on top on track 2 and for some reason, the sample won't play?

I pressed sequence to go back home and pressed the pad the sample was assigned to, NOTHING? It wasn't even in memory. The only way I could get it to play back is to acutally re-load the whole sample back again, and even then sometimes, when I hit the pad, the sample wouldn't play. Is this a bug on OS 1.30 or is my 500 f*ck*d up?

lets say i havea kick on pad 1, then a snare on pad 2, my 500 freaks out and plays random sampled from memory on those 2 pads.

Its happened to me. It usually happens to me if a have a program with alot of samples filling up Bank A and going on to Bank B. Its starts playing samples from other programs???

I have noticed that it usually happens to me if I have alot of samples on the program.

Watevers... I live with it.

WTF... three people have this weird problem? Obviously not user error then. Do you all have the OS 1.31 update?

I have had this error:

create a program and sequence, save all to project file
can continue to play sequence, but pads are all assigned to nothing
all samples are erased from memory (though they are clearly there because can be triggered by sequence)

I've got OS 1.30. It never did this in OS 1.11, so I guess it's a problem in OS 1.30. I'll upgrade tomorrow to OS 1.31.

yeah like evertime i record a sample and assign it to a pad, i'll get error sometimes when i go to trim it and the 500 sayin there's no samples in the memory. i have to mess around and go in and out different modes first for it to work. i'm still on the 1.30 update cuz i'm really lazy lol.
