Next Sequence Button

Can someone tell me what the "next sequence" button on other MPC models does? Is this a tool for programming sequences, or more for playing them back?

(I'm completely in love my new 500, and considering another MPC. Gateway drug!)

Sorry, i missread your message. Next sequence on the other models is a neat feature. You can go to the following sequence, or you can assign different sequences to pads (i do almost the same on the 500 with the "solo" mode).
