Its all good!!....except for one little thing!

Hey peeps...just copped me a Mpc 500 and im loving it, the only problem i got is when im recording in samples...Whenever i record in a sample from like a mp3 player or cd player it plays back really damn slow and deep? if you feel me? like its been slowed down for some reason...any ideas as to why this happens? because it should be fine with akai's sample rate, shouldnt it??

sounds like you are playing it back at a lower rate than recorded

And in trim mode

yeah make sure the pad your assigning the sample to has no effects on it and the tuning is at normal. just scroll though the program mode menus to make sure everything is in check
