get an m-audio uno midi interface.
just a usb cable on one side, and midi in n out on the other. works fine

I have a friend who uses Microkorg with smth that is a USB - MIDI cable. It has a flat USB plug on one side, and MIDI plug on another. I guess it would work if you use such thing with your MPC.
However, in my personal opinion, using a Firewire audio/MIDI interface, connecting it to MPC via MIDI cables is a better option.
