hey everyone. i know this question has probably been done before cos i recall reading it somewhere but cant seem to pick it up on the search. anyway ive chopped up my sample and assigned them to the 12 pads. how do i stop one sample from playing when i hit another pad? ie how do i stop the sample sound from the 1st pad stop carrying over when i hit another pad? also when i hit the same pad twice how do i cut it so that the sample cuts each time i hit the pad instead of the sample sound carrying over.

sorry for the language hopefully you can understand what i mean. thanks in advance!!!

If you go to youtube type in MPC 500 Mute Group tutorial and there is a guy that shows you how to do it. It's very simple.

Also, I need help learning how to chop samples in my MPC 500. Is there a slice mode
that I would use?

Help.
