metronome while not recording?

hey everyone. is there a way to get the metronome to play while your not recording? this way i can jam around with the samples to see if they fit in time with the beat without actually recording it. i hope this question isnt too basic (i saw the dude get ripped a new one for asking that bar count question lol!!). thanks in advance yeah :D

MPC500_Reference_Manual_revC

Type "metronome" in the search box, hit ENTER.

Then hit F3 four times to get where you need to be for Metronome.

Use that search feature to find alot of stuff in the manual, it really helps.

does anyone else find it highly annoying that adobe has a new update each time you open an adobe file? :angry: geez... calm down with the updates already

not at all since i dumped it for the far supiriour and faster foxit reader, recommended

I turn off automatic updates on almost everything I install.
