check it out:
when i'm making beats on my computer (ableton LE) using the 500 (i use it to trigger my drums of my laptop), it initially lags on the timing, making the beat i made sound off in the beginning. but, w/o my setup & making beats (500 stand alone), it sounds fine. what's up with this? i'm thinking it's a MIDI issue. gimme the scoop. thanks.

+1. I have a Presonus Firepod, and a computer with 4GB ram, Quad Core 3.2 GHZ, and a 7200 RPM hard drive and Ableton has latency issues somehow.....

Soooo.... good luck.

okay...i understand latency. but, now i've even began to trying to sequence beats w/ Battery 3 in stand alone mode & the same thing happens. my beats are OFF!!! could this be the MPC's doing or Battery3's? once i figure out what's doing what, then i'll be up & running (bear w/ me. this is my first PC setup) . help me out. thanks.
