Did They Fooled Me?

Hi,im new here Btw

So...

i bought an MPC500 From Ebay and on the description it says:
comes with no Factory Sounds And Presets
Now Im cool with the fact that it doesn't have The Factory Sounds
BUT THE PRESETS?!?
So i asked the guy what he means and he says
"The Presets needs to Be Rebooted Into The Unit"
so im thinking the guy just Fooled me to take the Cash
Can u give me an Opinion?

The presets can be erased, but you can reload them - you'd need to find them on the net (maybe on this forum?) and then load them to the MPC with a computer.

So no, they probably did not "fooled" you.

Presets suck.

It's a sampler.

Go sample stuff and do stuff with it.

Yeah, the presets is just to show you that this thing is a music box, you already know that so GO SAMPLE DUDE, GOOO!

You MPC 500 is a toaster without those presets. Sell it to me for $100.00.

thx for the help guys,i got The MPC500 In My Crib and im tryin to use it but ther's one thing i cant do
USE THE **** CF CARD
man im plugin the MP 2 The USB,And it shows me that the mpc is plugged but i cant see the **** driver
sux
and i think my mpc doesnt really reading my CF,So im sittin right now like a crap bag and Recording from my CPU
Its So 1991...
so if you want to reply or give an advise,FLOOD MY POST WITH THOSE

It sounds like ou got screwd! Try another cf card.

Maybe the card just needs to be formatted. Do you know how to format the card? It should be in your manual. I don't have mine in front of me but someone can probably tell you.

Thats what happens without presets.
Its just a rompler now.
