Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hi guys,

I'm just getting to grips with the 500 and am going to use it in live along with other hardware. I'm going to use it to trigger some samples that i've already sequenced into it. So what I want to do is just have one sequence with all the tracks in the it and bring them in and out, to go over what's playing on the other synths in sync.

When I move to a new song in my set (and the next sequence on the mpc) I want to have all tracks muted, so it sync starts the sequence with the other synths, but the mpc is muted, until i un-mute the various parts to come in and out again.

Can you save a sequence with everthing muted so that I don't have to rush and do this manually each time I change sequences when I'm moving to the next song in my set?

Thanks :)

yep, when you save, any muted tracks are saved in the muted state
