MPC500 use with mc303

Hey guys, new member here, I just bought an mpc 500 and Im trying to use it with my mc303, what's the best way to go about it? I basically want to be able to record guitar riffs or bass lines into the mpc and sync it with the mc303 which i'll use as a drum machine and for random synth sounds,
