Ok i know alot of you cats on here are sticklers about starting threads when there is one that exists already. I did try to search for an answer i browsed threw a few threads but did not find what I'm looking for so i apologize if i am duplicating a thread.

Simple question. I'm new to the mpc and have a 500.
From what ive been told there is a feature on the mpc called 1/16
which can chop a single sample into pieces and assign the fractions to pads.? correct?

does this feature exist on the 500?

currently i have been making beats without this feature just fine.
also are there any other features that the 500 lacks compared to the other mpc's

Chop a single sample into 1/16's and assign the slices to pads? No.

Other features the 500 lacks compared to other models? See the MPC Comparison forum. Lot's of info there.
