mpc 500 for now...
let me exsplain..
the mc 808 the name is very decieving samplin groovebox HUH its awsome i do love the thing but as far as for sampling nah man i barely get any sample time on that shit...and i dont even use the onboard keys i use a mpd midid to it..so i decided this morning i need a real SAMPLER..and i could use the xtra couple hunred bucks im gonna have in the return/xchange. for a new midi keyboard my keyrig sucks haha...no midi ports dont even use it haha im gon just cop this emu4 9 key joint for round two hun
and for now imma start with the mpc 500 will be my first mpc very xcited..and when my money situation gets a lil better again i plan on upgrading to the 1k ...shood be here within a week or so i still gotta ship this one back n shit but in paper its done haha

take your time to learn about the mpc500 before passing any judgments on it. out of the box you can **** around and make some cool stuff, but you will never appreciate your mpc until you start getting into all the cool things it can do. I went thought a phase where i was like "mannn **** the 500 i should have gone 1k" then i started learning more about my 500 and i love it.

Rolands are junk!
The phantom looks interesting, but I've been burned by rolands so many times that I wouldn't use one of those either.
The last decent rolands left the factory by 86.
