Song Mode - different sequence length

Hi,

I am about to et the MPC-500 but after extensively researching the machine, one question remained open to me:
Given that I am more into non-Hiphop Music I would like to know whether I can -once recorded all the sequences- build a song together such as

Intro 4bars

First Verse : (16 bars)
Drum pattern (4bars) repeat four times
Bass pattern (8bars) repeat 2 times
Keys (one track over 16 bars)
Synth pattern (pattern#1 4bars repeat twice, pattern#2 4bars repeat twice)

And then once created the song record e.g. voise or Saxophon over the whole track and assign it to one track.??

That is, bottom line, can I combine different sequences lengths on different tracks when builing a song in SONG mode?

Sequences can be different lengths. They are built with tracks that are all the same length if they're in the the same sequence. But yes, you can do what you are asking.

^^^Most definitely. You can have a bunch of sequences at different tempos and bars and can put them together to form a song. Follow your pleasure.
