got my 500 today!

and a emu x49board im honestly very happy with the 500 this is my first mpc ..but man im loving it..and it was so simple to figure everything out i dont understand y mpcs conduse so many people..i already got like 3 cf cards loaded with samples..im loving the 500 its a very powerful machine for its size...honestly i got rid of the mc 808 to get this and im very happy with my choice!!!!! im in love...new mpc head for sure now i def gotta stack for the 2500

well i should have also mentioned that i prin ted out the manual like two months before i even bought a 500 and have been studying it..maybe thats y i flew threw everything when it arrived

Actually, it's just PISS easy to use. I've had mine for about 4 months; I know it pretty much inside out, and I've not really read the manual! LMFAO.

I started off with a 500 and am so glad i got the 2500 it sounds so much better and the timing correct is so much more lenient .my 500 is on top off the shelf with me boss dr 808 (shite).These mpc's thingy mebobs are more potent than crack beleive it!!!!!

But you cant take the 2500 to the beach and bang out beats while bird watching.

I don't think I'll be upgrading to a high ranked MPC. The 500 suits me fine for all my needs. But if Akai makes a 500XL or 600 more advanced, slimmer, larger screen, and with 16 pads(sp606 size pads for space), that'll be my next purchase.
