Sup guys? I'm brand new to the forum and am looking forward to helping you guys out as much as i can and hope to get a lot of help from you.
I just got my mpc500 3 days ago and this is my first mpc unit and i love it, been doing everything on computer before this, feels good to get a hands on approach although i am having some issues that the book doesn't seem to cover.
I have a sample set at a 2 bar loop, moved the pitch of it up 6 and it's sounds really good, my question is how do you get the sample to loop at 2 bars on any tempo? i've tried the time stretch feature and it's not working, i had to lower the main tempo of the seq. to 70 in order for it to loop properly, i usually make beats in the 90-102bpm range. when i go into time stretch and move the bpm from the old to the new and click do it, it makes another sample to assign to the pads but it still sounds the same and is off beat, no clue wut i'm doing wrong here, any help would be great
