Hi guys,
Want to use 500 as sound module, sequencing from PC. So, I send MIDI data through m-audio UNO MIDI interface to midi-in.
Set MPC to slave, sync is on, load included Fusion kit program to Track 1. When I go to MIDI/SYNC menu, I see that pads are already assigned according to standard GM spec: C1 is basdrum, D1 is snare etc.
BUT, when I trigger the pads from PC, it still uses the default pad scheme (which is riddiculos to begin with, C1 is snare, C#1 is basdrum...)!. I realised that I have to change the pad assignment notes in the Program menu! Then what is the purpose of global pad assignment in MIDI/SYNC? I still have to manually re-map every single kit I have?
Or does global pad assignment only work when sending midi?
