i just made the best song ive ever made last night on my 500. i saved it and everything. now when i try to load it it says SYSTEM ERROR!!!

oh!!! i f%cking hate that!! also ive had this happen too, i made a real dope track, that i was jumping around to, and then start jamming on the pads with snare fills, then the batterys pop out, and i had not saved it yet......... has happened soooo many times... sorry man..

You might have maxed-out your RAM, possibly. This happened to me a few times, and my MPC almost became airborne. Part of it was because I wasn't saving correctly. Before you are done, clear out (Delete) any samples that you are sure you don't want or need. Also, if you had started with an original sample, and then chopped it into several more (i.e. Sample2, Sample3, etc.) make sure that you don't need that long, initial sample, and get rid of it. Follow the instructions, save everything as a Project, which makes things much easier, and save frequently. Also, one of the sample .WAV's could be corrupt. It only takes a little bug to shyte on an ill beat. I hope it works out for you.

maybe get a mpc-2500.I had the same problem wiv the little un

used to have the same problems with my 2500 too. you just got to suck it up and keep moving.

try loading the sequence you saved, then each program separately w/samples, you might be able to find which program is fVking up. if you find a bad program try loading individuals samples to find a culprit.. usually an internet sample.
