I just got my MPC 500 a little bit ago and I love fooling around with it. This was def worth the purchase. But I have one quick question. How can I erase all the sounds on the pads that automatically load up with the preset sequences. I always just load over them but some have effects like echo. So, I just wanted to see if anyone could help me. I was hoping reformating the CF would work but I was wrong. haha.

Ay, check out the manual that came with the 500. If you set the time aside, and read it through, while trying what u read, you'll be able to do whatever you need to with a little practice. i just got my 500 maybe a little over a month ago, that was one of the first things I did tho... for real. :P

But anywho, you press 'Mode' -> 'Load' [Pad3] -> and make sure you're at the load screen, then click the cursor arrow -> (right) in order to enter the area next to 'Load.' Scroll to 'Autoload' and click cursor (down) in order to scroll to 'No'... or is it 'Off.' Either way :)

but yea... that manual... just 1 time lol. You'll be straight afterward.
