Midi question??

Hi there...

Please proof me wrong! I can't make the mpc pads to trigger software application (like a controller). I start to think it's not possible!? I read the manual but could'nt figure it out...see I'm new to midi and it's hard to enter that wakky world.

It would be so awesome if it could, but if not than it's just better to know and deal with it.

any MPC can be used as a MIDI controller for virtual synths or whatever, for example. I'm actually readin up and learning this now.
I found this little thread through Google the other day. It's very to the the point in connecting an MPC to Pro Tools to control an virtual synth. I'm sure the process is not much different with any program. Here's a link...
