Playing Multisamples

Hi,

I know that a sample can be triggered by a Midi-device.


I'm not sure if I can do this with a MPC500:

Load a sample and play it with my Keyboard in different notes!

If not: Which MPC has this feature?

U have to assign this sample to all the keys on ur keyboard with different pitches. U can create these multisample programs urself or u can buy/download them.
The mpc4000 is the only mpc that works with keygroups like a racksampler.

Aaaaallllright, now I understand. It's a new feature. I was pretty sure u couldn't play keygroups with the original OS

The MPC-1000 and MPC-2500 with jjos 2 and up also supports keygroups. So no need to bust the budget.

Damn, I really can't keep up with all those new updates nowadays.

I have used my mpc-500 for this, it can be done. But you have to make a preset program first.
