MPC 500 connected to fast track audio to logic express 8

I want to connect my mpc 500 to logic so its can record all the tracks on there so i am able to mix the beat. I connected my mpc 500 to my m-audio fast track ultra through a midi wire, midi in on mpc 500 midi out on FTU. Then i connected the FTU to my logic and hooked it all up the way the akai website said to do http://www.akaipro.com/synclogic and it still doesnt work every time i hit play on logic it syncs up with the mpc 500 but nothing plays on the stereo HELP!

It syncs MIDI but nothing plays on the stereo? Maybe you think MIDI carries audio and nothing is plugged into your MPC audio outputs?

no nothing is pluggd into my outputs sorry new at all this wire shit so id plug the rca cables with the 1/4th adapter into the outputs on the mpc and then inputs on FTU?
