I've been posting asking for any kind of help with trying to sync my sound module and keyboard controller to my akai 500. I have read the manual and i can get sound coming from my sound module and akai. the problem is that i cannot play them together at the same time. Im thinking that it may be because im not using a mixer with no audio L/R going out. im using head phones. I know I need some monitors and a mixer of some kind but the funds are low, but i want to make sure i can solve the problem before i purchase something else. the manual only mentions syncing with internal sound keyboards so im lost.

akai midi in going out to the controller
soundmodule midi in going out to the akai
I follow the directions in the manual track>prams blah blah I change the type to midi i change to the right channel turn of the assign i do everything in the manual and get sound but they are not in sync. and i can only hear one or the other. anyone please help me out
