Adapter for the 500

Did the 500 come with an adapter? I bought mine used, and it had an adapter with it, and I think it said AKAI on it. Can't find it now.....and it's driving me crazy, I don't kow if I'm lloking for an AKAI adapter or a 3rd party joint.....

i have a 3rd party one that works. i think i had an akai one and i lost it too, maybe theres a monster that is stealing our adapters, my friend found one at his house and gave it to me the brand is Sino American

I bought mine new, so I can tell you that Akai packed my AC adapter by a third party company. I was pissed and thought the mail man switched them on me. But after all the hassles, I found out they all come with third party adapters.

I would just get a universal ac at RadioShack.

Nice. I saw that AKAI pro sells AKAI adpters for the 500, I just might drop the dub on it. Thanks for the help
