MPC "cuts" sound when playing multiple tracks

Hello, i've got the following problem:

Playing a sequence containing a bassline in one track and some drum beats in other tracks, the mpc "cuts" some notes of the bassline.

Playing the bassline solo there's no problem.

Same problem with strings...

p.s. the samples and programs I used are the original ones you've got on your mpc when you buy it...

Might want to check polyphony. mono your drum .pgms

Other than polyphony another thing that can cause that effect is if you have your samples set to "note on" instead of "one shot" IE: when you have to hold down the button to let the whole sample play.

If the point where you release the button and create the end of play point overlaps the same sample playing again, like in a loop, it will stop the second sample hit at that end point also.

That may be hard to understand so basically you either have to set your sample to "note on" or tap and hold the button precisely where it starts and ends without overlapping a second hit from the same sample.


Also make sure your mute groups are not overlapping where they shouldn't.
This can be especially elusive if you've reassigned sounds to different buttons and you left an empty button still programmed into the sequence that you cant hear because its not triggering a sound anymore.
