My Computer doesn't recognize MPC500

so ive been messing around with this thing for a while now, and i basically know how it works, but i have a bunch of samples i want to put on it from my computer and it just won't see it. ive tried different USB cables, restarting my machine, and seemingly nothing works. anyone know whats up with this?

Get a CF card reader its much faster.

You need to enable USB mode temporarily in the MPC settings ( Mode button /pad 2 etc)
All covered in the manual.
I find it easier to get a CF reader fror PC as others have mentioned.
If you want to assign the samples to the pads before you insert CF card into MPC , try putting all samples needed into a folder, and use something like MPCMaid on PC/Mac to assign to the pads.

ok this is it !! mode+save then scroll over all the way to the right .. u should see it appear .. peace
