Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

hi peepz!

i have a problem, some samples are making crazy noise when i load them into the 500.. but in the 2000 they sound ok like on my computer.. the samples are 16 bit, 44.1khz like all the other samples im working with.. i dont undastand it, is it a 500 bug or something??

What kind of noise???

Does it happen only while loading or during playback also?

Check your input cables, or maybe they're kinda old and worn. Also static electricity on the heads of the cables could cause that too. Just remove the cables and then reinsert them.

it sounds like its a white noise or something over the sample.. i hope you know what i mean..
it happens when i load a sample with usb on the mpc.. then some samples have a noise or something.. but only some samples.. others not.. its strange :shock:

No i didnt mean when i record something with the mpc, i ment when i load samples with usb..

Go into track edit and set the velocity to 98. It's a software error in the os.
