It has never done this before. I'm really worried b/c I'm just borrowing it from a friend.
-At first, I pressed mode+4 to play a song (it was hooked up to my mp3 player, which was almost on full vol.) but there were no moving bars to indicate that it was playing something and of course, no music was heard.
-The MPC was on mid-high volume and the recording knob was on about the same level too. I've always heard something when they've been on those levels.
-I have tried restarting it, replugging in everything, and re-inserting the CF card.
-ALL of the buttons work. I can load samples and sequences as usual, but they just won't play.
-It isn't my mp3 player, b/c it works with my headphones after unplugging it from the MPC.
-When the MPC is OFF, plugged in, and still hooked up to my stereo & Mp3 player, I can hear the songs perfectly, but not when it is ON.
-It worked perfectly fine before I went to school this morning. I didn't do anything to it at all between then and when I tried to use it after school today.
ANY help at all is really appreciated b/c I don't want to disappoint the friend I'm borrowing it from.
