Hey, anyone else run into this?

I'm still running an old OS so maybe this is it...

but i seem to be running into polyphony stealing.

I'm not using 32 voices of polyphony(unless stereo counts as 2 voices?) and it seems like there's some crazyy stealing going on.

i've had tons of weird stuff on the mpc500 happen. it's definitely not reliable. in fact all the new mpcs i've run into errors like this that'd never happen on mpc3k or mpc60...:(

it kinda sux but makes the soudn a little funky. but is there anything i can do ifi t's 32 voice? i wonder if there's a way to change the polyphony.

i'm using about 25 sounda at tops. within the same measure. maybe the samples need to be trimmed better?:-/

dont know what's up but it's frustrating. I keep the new samples at default most of the time...

i tend to do like 16-30 tracks for a seequence so i was hoping one sound a track = less than 32 voices.. . wtf>_<

nothing beats the mpc60 and 3k ! even with these new processros siht still f's up...

Yes, it does. Only use stereo when you absolutely need panning info on a sample.
