midi hook up and how to use

hello iam lost can you help me i have a mpc500 iam trying to sync a keyboard to my mpc so i can use the sound thru midi but i dont know how or i doing somethine wrong can you hellppp me plz

Hopefully this helps,

Which ever device you want to be the Slave (Rather it's your MPC or your Keyboard), you want to Use the IN Midi port. and use the OUT Midi port on the device you want to be the Master.

I may be wrong, but let me know if works out or doesnt work out for you man.
