help with rechargable battery time

What up yall.
I just picked up a 500 a few weeks ago and then picked up some energizer rechargeables.
I got two AAAs and two AAs along with a 15 minute charger.
I then got a 4 pack of AAs as well.
Here the problem: The thing DOES charge them in 15 minutes but I'm getting less than an hour usage.
I've turned down the battery meter and I still keep getting the warning.
The two that came with the pack are 2200mAh and the other four are 2300mAh.
Any ideas?

yo, charge them twice, or 3 times even,, i had that same problem when i first got mine and ive got a 30min charger, i charge them twice and they seem to last forever..

You mean charge em till the light changes to green , take em out and do it again?

thats exactly what i mean, the light should turn green faster, then try it again, it should turn green right away,. rechargeable batteries are a great investment for the 500
