Beat Chopping w/ 09 GarageBand

I know that GB is possible to use to chop, just wondering if anyone has tried it.

But when transporting any files to my 8gb CF card (8 samples; snares, kits etc.) it eats up about 7.35g w/ only 8 samples in the CF. Any reason to why it eats up that much, when it's only a audio clip of 1sec or less. I actually don't know what if I made sense @ all haha.

Another question is if it's able to connect the 500 to GB, just like using FL to 500.

Haha nice vid, I've seen that one. But'm what I wanted to see, was someone chopping samples in Garage Band then converting it's file wav. or something.... then sending the samples to assigned pads etc..
Plus the video had and older version of Garage Band, mines is 09
