MPC 500 is F*ked! HELP

So yesterday night i had some good sequences going, and wanted to work on them later when i got home. So as i've done before SUCCESSFULLY without defects, I saved my work to the autoload folder. Today, I get home from school, start it up and now it's stuck at the following screen:

CPU Adr (read)
PC(884afa96)


..I cannot get passed this screen, i've tried initializing to factory settings, restarting the mpc (obviously), searching forums and the internet. Oh yeah, I bought it 2nd hand off a guy on ebay who lived in my city, he said he only used it twice...Please help, I don't care if my work is destroyed (well I do ) im just really grateful! I want it to work again :'(

This is normal for the 500. It's unstable as hell. Perhaps i can save some of your work if you want. PM me.

iigh't PM'ed you, thanks for your concern I still welcome anyone else to help me with my current problem.

If you have a ram chip installed, have you tried taking it out and then powering on? Try that if you do, just be careful cause those clips are FRAGILE.

i fixed it on my own, and considering you only have 925 posts i take you as a liar.

You need to add our post total up...
