Q: Q-Link Slider

I have a Q about the q-link slider, I rarely use this. I'm tryna find out hot to save 'the sample' that was changed from the q-link slider. Anyone know what I could do?
When I go to the q-link slider and the screen shows..... i press play and my sequence that I made.... record and it has the sample play that was q-linked. After all I went back out to the Sequence mode and replayed it, the sample that I changed was playing normal.

LMK if anyone still figuring this one out, or if you know what I could do LMK... thank you

No one got anything by far? tried a few other things today to make it sound linked.. but it reverts to its original.

Hey, I'm not at home right now so I can't test to be 100% sure, but I think that before you save the q-link variation you have to press the "after" button! Correct me if I'm wrong..

I will try this and notify you w/ what went on. thanks for a throw out though.

Naw that didn't work so I just went straight to Programs and change the tempo from there aha. Still figuring out how I could get that Q-Link to save my sample, instead of it being recorded after it's change, and in the playback it plays the original sample.

Hi, before using my mpc500 i first read the user's manual , and i think your problem is not in save the sample linked, look at manual there is writen that the q-link slider data is recorded on the not modyfi your sample and track is saved in all project, try to study the chapter 8 Q link slider fromyour manual.

hah ya I got this down 2nd day I posted this manual helps but some times there be things you actually don't know what you did by fault and it wont get to help for the other things you want to do w/ your Akai.
