Anyone replaced the CF card reader on their 5 hun?

My 500 does not see files on my CF card nor does my computer via USB. I also cannot format the card. I know the card is fine because my computer sees/transfers files fine via USB card reader. Anyone replace the CF reader on a 500? Is it hard? Any info is appreciated.

Shouldn't be too hard to replace the board, I've popped the top off a few times to fix the buttons/pads and clean up dust n stuff... I think it's a ribbon connector, so just take it appart, and remember where the screws go (take notes/draw pictures on paper) and you should be all set.

Might be worth checking if you have a bent or pushed in pin before you lay out the cash for a new reader though.
