mpc500 to dj mixer to stereo

hy peops
i connected my mpc 500 to the dj mixer i got and plugged the line outs to the 2 phonos on its backside the crossfader is set to the middle and the output of the dj mixer head into (Tried all of em) the inputs of the stereo like phono or cd etc.
and its not working.
If i connect the mpc to the stereo by its self without using the mixer though, it works
If i connect the laptop to the mixer on rec next to output and the mixer to the stereo it works
If i connect the laptop to the mixer on phono or any othe channel but rec i get high latencybassnoize and low volume mid and highs do i need a phantommixer? or is mine just broken?

could someone please tell me what the **** deal with this **** up shit is ?
the whole day got wasted through plugging cables to in and outputs i allready think
im a cable too going nuts man HELLLLLPP!

never connect to phono (ment for only turntables)

connect the mpc 500 output to the mixer line input...not phono!!!! check on the back of the mixer if it has phono/line switches.

you mean the aux swiches?
but even if i connect the mpc to the tape/ cd ins it wont work
might i have busted the mixer?

try the mpc500 headphones out to connect to the tape/cd/aux input of the mixer

!!!!don´t plug the pc into mixer rec/out...here is what you need to do:

1 the headphones output of the pc needs to go into one of the mixer´s inputs

2 connect the mixer output to one of the amplifier´s inputs/aux

3 connect the mpc output into one of the mixer line inputs

4 connect the mpc input/rec to the mixer output/rec or the amplifier output/rec.


This has to work,just follow the instructions i gave you

ps if you want to record the audio from your mixer into the pc get an audio interface.
