Can different midi files be imported on different tracks in the same pattern?

I don't think anybody understands fully what you mean.
It's like asking if you can drink a glass of milk out of a glass.
Could be just me... but I don't think your first post makes any sense by itself. I could guess at your intent, but I'd probably be wrong.

OK, I'll try to explain. I have 4 midi sequences(4 midi files) : one is a bass patter, one is a lead pattern and the other 2 are another leads. I want to import each of these one one track in the MPC 500 and to use it as a sequencer for my sound generator. If it can't do that I will not buy it so that's why is this question very important to me.
I tried that with the Monomachine and the ESX and it doesn't work, so you see my problem?

I got the answer.
You can import midi files and choose in which sequence you want import them, but not in which track.
So if you have 4 midi tracks you have 2 possibilities with MPC500:
1) import each midi track into a different sequence, then move every track in the same sequence.
or
2) prepare a midi file containing the 4 tracks, then import it into a MPC sequence.
I have tested it with a beatles midi file containing several tracks. The MPC recognizes the midi number assigned to the tracks, but of course you can change it according to your sound module.
