Power Cord lost

This might be in the wrong section to be posting this topic/situation. Though I'm in need of some help to getting a new power cord/adaptor for my mpc500. Is there any possible sites or perhaps browsing the forums here will have a legit seller?... who's willing to sell their unwanted or extra Akai MPC500 power cord/adaptor?

LMK if there's people or perhaps your self who's willing to sell or give a unwanted functioning power cord/adaptor.

Someone might come along with a better solution, BUT my solution DOES work.
I bought an MPC from eBay without a power cord in October and so I went to RadioShack and made my own.

I used the Enercell brand AC Power adapter. Mine is 12v/500mA.

Then you need an Enercell "Adaptaplug" tip which goes on the end of the cord (this is the part that will connect to your MPC).
Just get one of the RadioShack peeps to help you out... at my store they just opened them up until one fit inside my MPC, since I brought my MPC to the store. ALSO, on the box of the Power supply, it SHOULD say that the tip comes free with the purchase of the power supply... make sure to ask about this, as I didn't see it and ended up paying for both the tip and the adapter like a sucka-duck

Then just check which way the power flows on your MPC and make sure to orient your Adaptaplug tip accordingly (your MPC says which way the power goes RIGHT above where the DC power plugs into your MPC, the symbol with the + and -). Stick on the tip and you've got a MPC 500 power supply.

Like I said, I've had mine since October, and have only used this setup, and have had 0 problems. idk if someone else has a better solution online, but I didn't know what to trust online at the time, and this one is found at your local RadioShack and works.

Find an unused ac adaptor in your house and see if it fits. I connected the 500 to ac adaptors belonging to mixers and other portable sh!t and it works fine. Just check the voltage like Grasshop says, or else.
