When recording live from guitar to 500 this happens.........

I've got the MPC all set to record the guitar..stereo is the mode i want to sample in...left and right rca's in MPC out to a dual rca set which is plugged into a converter that plugs into the one jack on guitar...i can record but it only plays out of one speaker hmmm...in theory it should work...dont know help me please..thanks

ummm so your plugging a guitar straight to the mp with no amp or effects pedal to boost the signal?

Guitars output in mono. Why would you try and record it in stereo?

Use an amp (needs to have a DI-Box or at least a headphone output) or an effects pedal (usually has a stereo out). Never plug your guitar directly into normal audio equipment (hi-fi amp, mpc, etc), it's not meant for that (different signal coming from your guitar).
