Problem with pads

hey guys so I need help with my mpc 500. I load the sample onto the pad but when I hit the pad it doesn't play. However when I check the sample assign on program mode it's still there, and the pads work in trim mode. Am I doing something wrong? Help please and thank you!!

Sounds like the FULL LEVEL button is not enabled.

check whick bank you got selected, sounds like you're on a wrong bank thann the one your sample is.

I checked both of those. Neither of them is the problem. It's really strange.

Possibly the pad sensitivity in Other mode.

I have it at 16.. I'm clueless at this point.

either try normalizing the sound, turn the level of the sample up (with full level on) and check your master level

So I tried normalizing the sound and it all won't play under sequence but it will play under trim

Go to Program mode and check the setting of the sample on the pad. Also lacing samples on a newly fresh program will do the trick too.
